About the Norwegian Association for Computers and Law

The Norwegian Association for Computers and Law was established on August 15, 1980. It is a multidisciplinary forum where members can exchange views, experiences, information and knowledge about law and information technology in a broad sense. The association’s area of interest covers all legal aspects of the development, production, sale, and use of IT. The association’s activities also include questions related to IT as a tool for legal practitioners.

The association aims to provide information and knowledge in this field to its members and to society as a whole. The activities are directed both towards professionals, including continuing education, and towards students to raise interest in the field. Last but not least, the association promotes social contact among its members.
